The land of Naruwan ! Alas , i manage to find a decent place with internet access... wowee !~ you'd never imagine wat happened to me in "huanglian" today !@!

i visited this small village of the mountain tribes wif my parents this afternoon , and this is where zhang hui mei's tribal home is supposed to be ! The guide told us that judging by his standards ah mei can be considered one of the worst looking girls of this tribe @!~ My eyes grew a teensy bit larger at this moment...

With a renewed interest, we made our way to the village with haste. I was all gung ho bout finding more bout their culture and way of life ! The hosts put up a hearty performance consisting of tribal girls and men swinging their legs around and shaking their chests ! i found this rather amusing , and almost laughed my ass off.. !

How was i to know that towards the end of the performance , i was handpicked by the tribal girl to go on stage for a performance !!!~ wowee !! Being shy , reserved , i was initially apprehensive and tried to shy away, but i had to comply in the end because of her persistent requests !

the black witch then proceeded to announce tt i was to be bethrothed to the tribal girl !!!! argh !~ they then put some weird looking feathers on my head , and a colourful costume to match the already atrocious looking bird feathers !!~ made to kneel down before the tribal witch, i was then given a cup of traditional rice wine... yikes i swear tt thing must haf been 50% alcohol !!~ i was then spanked on the butt wif a bundle of fronds !!!!! ~@#$Q$#% i almost kicked the blasted witch's butt in retaliation !~ i shud haf given her a piece of my mind...

The procession was then completed with me carrying the bride on my back and running the entire square once.. Alas ... i was made to dance the chest shaking, leg swinging dance wif them ... talk about karma...

gosh... i still cant believe this happened ... My parents laughed their asses off and even took a video of me ! evil parents... im their only son..

As i haf not aired my axillary region for quite sometime, i acceded to yexin's invitation to go rockclimbing today ! As Keppel towers climb adventure club has a one for one deal tt offers free equipment too, we decided to go air our armpits there ! U knoe, the trick to rock climbing is to talk in the rock climbing lingo... so i went in and told the uncle : "uncle one ATC please ! gri-gri also ok !" To my dismay, they ran out of all the good down to earth ATCs (its not somethign u eat, but for u to belay ppl), and they passed me this goodness-knows-wat-it-is thingy ! uncle gave me the : "ni hui yong ma ?" expression.. Not wanting to exhibit any amateurism, i gave him the "xing ! no problem ! ive used this thing a billion times ! " look.. After which, i quickly ran to yexin and asked him how to operate tt blasted thing.
Man... those guys there are monkeys !!! juz tt they dun haf fur and tails !!! a stretchie stretch here and a reachie reach there and they can get to impossible positions ! there was this particular monkey or rather a group of monkeys who were busy climbing on the roof of the room ! !
Ive realized hunky yauhong is a natural !!! Even wif a sprained ankle and a"im not going to exert myself too much because i have a hot date later" attitude,he still kicks ass. jianhao is an ageing NTU undergraduate who still shows amazing flexibility even though he's 24 ! A couple of yexin's frens came along too... Lester, Chuan qi, Eng Khoon..
After climbing for a whole 3 hours, my arms were wasted..Even brushing my teeth at night was a chore !!! gah ... stupid exams have made me soft..

Having been couped up in sorry places like the nus medical library, VJC wif dear roberty yeo (i bet he's looking for me now.) and at home, my legs were all itching for some action ! Furthermore, my mom seems to have run out of chinese herbal medicines at home .. As such, it is part of my filial duty to go pluck some thousand year old mushroom or some 10 thousand year old root and some tongkat ali. Me yingci Sel the sandman and Hanboon were supposed to go together ! as agreed at "brewerks" however, due to many problems, i ended up going wif yc and sel only .

Day 0

so last wed both of them came over to stay at my place in preparation for the climb.having prayed hard tt both of them wun fall of the mountain and tt they would at least have a conscience and help me carry some stuff, we finally went to bed at bout 1 am. But not before doing a meticulous chk on all ur eq ! My mom even made some magic potion tts supposed to give us miraculous power !

Day 1

"ringg ringgg !!"the blasted alarm woke me up at 6am (the alarm almost died a most horrible death) after much difficulty, i finally managed to get yingci up and after a chop chop kalepok breakfast we all squeezed into my dad's car and he drove the lot of us to queen's street to board the express bus to malaysia ! The woodlands chkpoint was stylo to the max boy, all new and spruced up..ermmm the malaysian part ??? ...... at the LArkin bus terminal, we purchased the bus tix for 10 ringgit each tt will bring us all the way to segamat. As the poor fools couldnt understand my seemingly good malay, i had to resort to using my more than realistic hand actions to get them to understand tt i wanted to climb the mountain ! SHEESH !!

The blasted airconditioner was on the blink, and i felt like i was being roasted wif hot air ! and the kookoo driver had the cheek to laugh at my malay...So after traveling for like 5 hours, we finally reached the base of mt ophir ! However, we had to hike in bout 1km from the main road. I couldnt manage to convince yc and selene to stick out their legs to hitch a ride. darn....

the climb was pretty much simple for the first part..The only thing tt spoilt the scenery was the fact tt there were hordes of stinky malay boys splashing and goodness-knows-wat-they-are-doing in the rapids at the foot of the mountain. i saw one boy who was so well endowed tt he'd put pamela anderson to shame man. i'll bet the pool would be empty after he jumped into it.. And except for the mozzies tt were dive-bombing us, the place was great. and after a certain altitude, the malay boys sort of disappeared ! talk abt good riddance... well the mozzies too.. our guide,imran,who cost us 150 ringgit !!! (kan cai tou ah !!!) brought us all the up to kolam Gahja ! along the way, i entertained my two companions wif my famed songs. am i glad he offered to carry the tent for me !!! having pitched our tent which was called "meng long pai" which roughly translates as "ferocious dragon brand" we then proceeded to cook dinner ! dinner was cup noodles and chunky and some blasted !@#$@Q$#% "gulong brand" fragrant mushrrom pork trotter soup tt was nothing but fat and bones.. @#@#%^ Me and Yingci bathed... who din ??

We decided to entertain ourselves wif card games in the tent as we were getting kinda bored.. The fun din last long i tell u..The bloody malaysian army came knocking on our doors !Here goes...we were happily playing "donkey" in the tent, then i heard a "gruff" outside. being the brave boy tt i am, i decided to go chk it out.man .... i almost peeed in my pants when i shined my torch in tt direction. I saw a whole section of army men in full battle order,rifles and all wif camo on their face! i thot was some terrorist gp "johore liberation army" or wat tt preyed on poor helples tourist trying to act macho wif a torch (me).. Well thank heavens they din disturb us..
soon i fell asleep... tho something smelt weird on my left in the tent...

Day 2

ahhhh ! fresh air greets me in the early morn.i washed up in the rapids and pools. and got changed, and was soon ready to tackle the summit! We followed our new guide "ello"'s lead. A series of never ending steps known as KFC "killing fitness centre" greeted us. After giving Yc a hand in tackling all the technical difficulties we finally reached the summit ! needless to say, along the way we spotted many medicinal plants. However we could stay at the summit for long as the sky started to fall on our heads !!! but i managed to take a couple of pics tho.

The climb back down was ASAP !! i was practically bounding all the way down..particularly because we kinda ran out of water and i was tryniig to get to the stream ASAP !!! Yc had a very painful look on her face when negotiating all the steps ! it was as tho she was afraid shed miss every step and come rolling all the way down..Sel was right behind me ! bounding like a ball.. ahaha poor sel's soles came off both shoes !~

Day 3

ive never seen sel move so fast b4. She trotted all the way down the mountain ! most unfortunately, she took a mighty tumble near the foot of the mountain, but was cushioned by her turtle shell bag ! theres a chinese su yv tt goes : "si jiao chao tian" which translates as 4 limbs facing the sky ! after getting off the mountain, we went to JB for a good hearty meal ! woohoo ! ... and then finally back to sing and the much awaited toilet bowl and hot tub ....

YAY YAY YAY double triple YAY !!! Blasted professionals are over and i din get any surVIVAs (oral examinations) anyhow, my condolences to the poor profs who are going to have to read yauhong's chicken scratch along wif 230 scripts ! happy grading all the scripts man ! ive done my fair share by mugging my ass blue for the past 2 months ! ho ho ho ... a merry ho ..

Post professional activities came wave after wave ! surfing, mountain climbing, FOOD ~ ! and of course loads of exercise. My sorry ass has been up to nothing but studying slping and eating for the past 2 months ! oh no.... i feel like a jasper... But Mt ophir was one major workout !!!

vj memories.... part 1

heh studying at vj has brought back many fond memories... and i think i should pen them now lest i forget them at a later date ! i was a good student ! supporting the college and doing the college proud by winning awards! having been on the lion dance team, assistant CT rep , and the animal welfare society which me jingyuan and nicole spearheaded !

1. orientation... (escape from alcatraz<--- not sure if the spelling's right!)

wesley and i werent too keen on the second orientation at vj ! so we made a daring escape ! wooah ! it was an epinephrin inducing sympathetic stimulation experience man.. We jumped the back gate while always on the lookout for the eagle eyed counselors ie. jail wardens !! but those evil wardens saw us and gave chase ! we ran all the way into neptune court ! and they chased us there ! our fren then called me to say they sent 2 more runners after us ! woah... we ran all the way to the beach man and finaly got away scott free... note : this is not a fictional story..to date it remains one of the most exciting moments shared by wesleytay and me...

2. tuesday gelares !

As we all know, tuesdays are gelares days ! cause the waffles are half priced !! Wes and i became gelares's early birds on tues morns ! i can still remember our favourite flavour was praline and cream !!soon,the gelare gang swelled to include guys from my class,seb, junliang, ed.. most unfortunately, the teachers din take "having waffles during lecture time" too kindly. As such we had to have our gelare excursions rather discreetly..man they are such prunes.. cant they understand tt we need our weekly dosage of cheap icecream waffles ??!! they help me concentrate more on studying aft tt.. Mr seet almost caught me once,but somehow i managed to squirm outta it!!whew...

3.beef noodles !

Seb has always been my beef noodle and fishball noodle kaki in vj.. the uncle at the siglap kopitiam knows me so well tt all i haf to do is wave to him and he'll know wat i want ! ive brought my other classmates there b4.. ant , mz , nic , lc , mike , loy and gang.. etc .. i always prefered outside food for lunch...

4. basketball !

jinyuan was my bball kaki in jc ! we'll play during maths and bio lectures , tutorials , and of course after school !! he was the basketball captain back in dhs and he taught me some neat tricks ! like sticking ur leg btw ur opponents legs , pulling their shirts ... etc..

5. ms wong ! ! our civics tutor !

woah the ever strict face, skirt always ankle length and i-have-something-against-all-the-guys ms wong was our chem and civics tutor ... she's nice, but jus a little too harsh for me.... she made junliang face the wall during one of her classes ! however, rumour has it tt she is a real havoc outside sch and has a bf who wears leather clothing and rides a bike ! all i can say is tt i almost peeed in my pants when she asked to see my mom aft the first common test. and she called up my parents when she found out i was not in the LT during the post-promos lectures !!! shes ... one of a kind..

think i'll continue at a later date.. if any of my classmates remember any significant details pls tell me !

VJ adventure !!

today's good friday !!! After bathing hokipokimo rusty and belle, i decided to relieve the vj mugging days and pay the dear old "concourse" and "reading room" a visit !! hence i donned my holey and fading vj pe shirt and lugged my "weighs like a bomb #!$Q^$" bag tt was filled to the brim wif one guyton,one netter,and one snells... (for those who are not in the know,guyton is a book recommended for insomniacs..) i trudged, staggered all the way to vj only to have my great enthusiasm dampened by shut gates !!

i couldnt let a couple of shut gates stop me could i ??!! hey i used to good at climbing gates ! (in vj tt is) the *%^$%^@^* super heavy bag almost brought about my downfall! literally!!gosh..and i almost endangered a most vital organ...having conquered the stupid gate...i then proceeded to check out wat used to be my favourite mugging spots !

1. reading room... all locked to my dismay ! grumble mumble...

2. garden tables and chairs beside the reading room near the canal !

seemed quite promising at first and i plopped down and got started...then the flies started coming !!! bzzz bzzz bzzz !! i bzzzed them back but really din seem to work.. frustrated and bzzzed, i packed up and left for the concourse..

3. concourse !
wah they sure spruced up the place man.. looks like some cafe now !! and they've got lotsa large pics and posters plastered and the pillars ! Joyce khoo !! steph yeo !! if ure reading this, u should go chk it out ! man i was looking all over for my photo but din seem to find one..
finally got a gd seat and got down to mugging... only to be disturbed by fatty pom pom roberty yeo right after lunch!! wah !! i think he has really put on a lot of weight since the last time i saw him ! his umbilicus is lower than his belt line !! and he still walks around wif his belly protruding i-think-im-cool stance !!

i was super hardworking today and stayed all the way till 930pm in sch !! woohoo ! a productive day !

arghhhhhhhhhhh!!!! horrors of horrors !!!!!!!! i woke up this morning wif 3 new pimples !!!!and all were on my face ! gosh ! muz be all the mugging..

ive concluded tt the 3 worst places to haf zits are in the ear,nostril,and on the ass cheek...

and my mom woke me up at like 8 am and rushed me out of the house to have breakie wif her and sis at the coffeeshop near our place.... guess wat.. i had ace ventura like hair,everything was standing up and swept to the left side... @#$!^%#&* my mom had to meet her friend there !!!! ah worst still, they had a pretty daughter somemore !!!sighz...

and when i came back i found out tt hokipokimo had broke lose again ! and were all over my room... it sure looked like they were having a pooing competition or wat not..

in the midst of studying for our professionals , the med lib mug club has had a few unwinding sessions to release the pent up energy ! i cant believe i went to kbox wif "su yong kang" ngoh, "up! up! i can dance" zhongyang, "falsetto i can sing higher than a girl" qingyuan, "i think im better than renjun but actually not true" toh han,"i can sing well" yijun and victor ! man ... i think the only song tt i sang well was "hong cai mei mei" which is a song about pretty maidens in the country side.

then we had to pot luck at my house on wed !! ngoh and his famous popiah , dick and rach wif their bushchetta and potato salad , manny and angela wif their roast chick, bang and teresa wif their 2 tubs of almond jelly , hunk wif all his beer , dehan wif his similan , selene wif her stomach , ah zhong wif his fried rice, yijun wif her cheesecake which is still in my fridge...

AS USUAL WE HAD TOO MUCH FOOD AND IM NOW BLOATED WIF ALMOND JELLY AND CHEESECAKE!!!!!

having acquired 3 furballs with mickey mouse ears, ever so ticklish whiskers, and long tails, my room has become a chin playground !! wah... i muz say chins are very smart rodents !! last night, they broke lose from their cage and pounced all over the place !! ive realised ( abit to late ) tt they are nocturnal animals !! man.. 3 guesses as to how i woke up at 4 am in the morn ??? (hint: i thought my mom was using a feather duster on my face) im still amazed as to how papa hoki managed to jump onto my bed !!! so far ive not seen it repeat its feat...

and little mo gave me a shock of my life yesterday !!! i decided to let all 3 of them run aropund in my bathroom while i showered... and guess wat !!!? little mo decided to take a swim , relief herself , commit suicide or take a bath by jumping straight into the toilet bowl !!!!wah... ive never jumped out of the shower so quickly before !!! poor mo was drenched and struggling in my toilet bowl.. thankfully she din get flushed down or wat not ....

heh as of now ive managed to train hoki and mo to sit on my shoulder ! but poki still resists my advances ... man...

heehee post CAs has been fun so far !! went surfing yest wif bang and hunk ! but darn, din even go out to sea ... but hey we got a new 7.5m sail from uncle allen !! tt guy seriously nvr fails to dump us with new sails !!! spent 2 hours riggin it up !!! man... i think im getting soft . got blisters on my hand aft tt. not from surfing but rigging !!! and the mast is like super tight lorh !!! was like trying to stuff an elephant's leg into a keyhole !! had to summon all "9 cows 2 tigers" (translation : jiu niu er hu zhi li) of strength tt i had to stuff it into the sail..dinner at lagoon food village ensued !! woohoo !!! anyone going there anytime soon please ask me along !!

and i bought an ipod mini today !!!!was at the it road show at suntec wif amandalam and gang ! arghh... when i opend the casing i was like figuring where on earth was the charger !!!? could it be that the ipod was so high tech tt it ran on solar power,or simply by asorbing heat from my palm???!! but i din see any solar cells !!! arghh it was only much later tt i realised the USB wire doubled as the charger !! wah.... to think i almost called up their customer serive hotline !! hee... would seriously have been quite embarrassing !!

juz went to visit rusty at mount pleasant's animal hospital.. he looks very forlorn and sad.. he's only 7 years old. had 3/4 of bladder resected, might have to undergo chemotherapy... :( sigh i should have noted the signs earlier..

i seriously am a ardent supporter of packet tissue/toilet paper.. i muz haf gone through like 7 packets today..not to mention the bundles of toilet paper tt i stole from the toilet...i couldnt help it could i ?the toilet auntie in the med lib was sneaking glances at me! to think i thought ..... then i noticed it was the bulge of toilet paper tt caught her attention.....

analysis of tissue and toilet paper :

tissue paper from drink stall motormouth uncle
1. 20c for one packet
2. very ugly cartoons on the packet (i once had one tt read harry porter)
3. 2 ply.. not good enough.. one mighty sneeze and you'll get one big hole and droplets on the table..so sometimes you'll haf to fold the tissue once b4 sneezing into it.
4. more comfortable.. wont get red sore nose after a whole day of sneezing

toilet paper (gai bo zhua in hokkien) from the med lib
1. limitless supply !! woohoo !!!
2. totally FOC , but you'd have to brave the toilet auntie if she's there.
3. comes in one long strip ! you can roll it into a ball and stuff in in your pants which then becomes a toilet paper dispenser..
4. stronger and more durable.higher tensile strength,resistant to strong sneezing.
5. one will become rudolf the red nose reindeer if used for extended periods of time. thankfully there are no classes tmr...
6. might occasiaonally reek of the loo cos of the close proximity to the toilet bowl. trick to overcoming this problem : breathe in far away from the toilet paper,blow,and inhale only when u draw the toilet paper away from ur nose.

conclusion and advice from the veteran: if you're having an extremely bad sinus attack, use a combination of both tissue and toilet paper !! its cheaper tt way !! ive alr spent 1.40 on tissue paper today lorh !!!!!

wowee ! had a great sat yesterday !! went over to nic's place(the gardens at bishan) wif mike. As usual, i gave nic's mom my signature auntie killer smile and wished her longevity and good health ! this proceeded wif the customary exchange of mandarin oranges which i nearly forgot to bring along.(to nic:hoho sorry if my oranges looked a bit pimply and out of shape!i ate up all the goodlooking handsome ones at home.. :))

lunch ensued.. wow her mom can cook !! played cards wif nic mike and sha (nic's 17 yr old sis) ! having digested lunch, i then changed into my exercise outfit for a game of tennis!~ packed all the mambo jumbo into my professional looking team wilson tennis bag which i used to carry my badminton rackets and lecture notes to her place...

hehheh i gave them a show of my radio ball !!(u can hear it but u cant see it !) and my special hidden tiger drunken prawn stance.. played doubles, and singles wif nic. suffice to say, my tennis was the pits, so much so that i had to make up wif exaggerated movements and hot air ! grumble mumble.. The sweltering heat got the better of me and soon retired back to her place for some cheng teng cooked by her mom ! i had two helpings !! satiated ....

woah !! its been a herectic,everyday busy,dong dong chiang,pineapple tart/bak kwa stuffing(mom's not happy wif tt),new yr !!!

woohoo !!! for the first time in 8 years i stepped back onto a sailing boat !!! exhilaration, excitement and expectation surged through my veins... however i was to be disappointed by the dismal wind and less than scenic surroundings at RYSC today..Oh man and the area available for sailing was so tiny that it seems as if its some playpen for little luoluos who cant handle the ropes. Worse still !!! i had to contend with looking green-eyed at the hairy ang-mohs zip by me in their flashy fancy pansy jet skiis !!!wah and i dun think going circles around me is funny !!!! i had to restrain myself from hurling expletives.. ever seen a slow lorris race a cheetah ?? nvm its the equipment...not lack of skill i always say.

but nonetheless ive decided tt im going to go back to sailing ! I knew i was made for the sea when i sat in a bathtub when i was a kid....

After my previous maid eloped wif a bangla/construction worker/goodness knows wat, and left me in the lurch wif a mountain pile of housework for the holidays,my new domestic helper finally arrived, and has been with us for the past two weeks! Her name is YATI ! gosh ... when my mom told me our new maid was YETI (that was how she pronounced it) i was expecting some hulking giant wif big feet... but she turned out to be some mild mannered old malay auntie who is old enough to be my mom...

oh Man !!! she cant differentiate clothes for nuts ! i found my sis's pink sloggies in my drawer ! gosh luckily i din have frens over.. And i think she cant speak a single word of english ! errm and i seriously dun think she comprehends my less than perfect malay either..

After a long break its our back to sch blues again... Well nothings changed much excpt for this empty space in my heart...We saw "deep sea shark fishing"(this guy who always wears this shirt tt says deep sea shark fishing) who has changed to "rip curl"today, act sey gia , dua leng gong, Baba(whom jasper dreads !),nisteroy,shan dian (lightning),tm...... the list goes on..

Bcos of bad slp nights for the past few days,i had no choice but to make the lecture tables comfy again..I tried to fight the Z monster valiantly but nonetheless it prevailed.Lol i was experimenting the different positions with the lecture tables. here are some of the positions :

1. crossed palms on the table and forehead directly resting on palms..
evaluation : not very gd as it gets painful after a while, and the table is too near the seat. i rate it 2 out of 5 .

2. lying on side of head on my biceps
evaluation : more comfortable as biceps are softer, but the drawback is u tend to drool aft a while (its not very sightly) i rate it 3 out of 5 .

3. sitting upright.
evaluation:ppl behnd u will still think ure awake but the occasional swaying will give u away.furthermore its not really tt comfortable as well. 1 out of 5

4. head propped up by one hand and leaning towards one side. elbow resting on the hand rest.
evaluation: not bad ! ppl will think ure deep in thought ! and concentrating fully !! 4 out of 5 !!!

after i woke up frm lecture when dear martin lee concluded his mumblings, amanda came over and offered some sweets tt she brought back frm aussie land !! seriously not bad at all ! i could do wif more !!

today,the masks and cotton wool came of the cadavers.... gosh. i din like the looks of them :( and some had their scalp sawed away..

Touch Donation Drive

Hunky the humongous hairy hiatus horny hong -----> yaofeng arranged for us to help out with a donation drive by touch community on sat ! They gave me this red bag -- wif a tiny hole up front and a sling behind.. i reckoned tt we were supposed to sling tt red bag arnd our necks and go round orchard road asking for donations in aid of the tsunami relief fund.Oh man,really reminded me of little boy scout i once was. but hey ! its for a gd cause and im a big scout now so why not ??

gosh im appalled at some singaporeans..There were actually some who walked one big circle arnd me !! juz to escape giving some lose change??its not like im some 8 legged, 3 eyed, tentacle wielding monster whos gonna eat them up the next moment right ? The only consolatn was tt there were those who came up to me,without asking to do their bit!there was this young punk who gave me 30 bucks ! and best of all,the biggest catch of the day went to bang who received $200 frm this young chap!

oh man and i got pestered by this young punk(horribly attired) with dyed spiked hair who was also doing some flag day thingy(not for the tsunami relief find)...He came to me shaking his can wif the few miserable coins inside and gave me tt look!indicating tt i shud donate to him as well.Man who does he think he is ??ah long san collecting protection money ?? he was lucky i din get touchy... but well there were these two nice schoolgirls who came to me,donated 5 bucks each,asked me how i was doing,being frenly...

our total earnings for tt morning probably added up to bout 400 each,not bad for one morning! hoho ! hope the cash will be put to gd use and not siphoned off by some corrupted official !!~

Having been invited by Bang and Hunky for a surf today, i summoned my trusty almanacs to me... They foresaw tt it was going to be a howling windy day(strong enough to mess up my hair) ! woohoo !! they were right ~~! however, i had to sneak past boss lady at home as she is the ALMIGHTY who believes one can bully the mountain but not the sea (qi shan mo qi shui).

Bus 36 brought me to the doorstep of East coast PA ! darn... the doors were closed, and no sign of bang and hunky. But having been a very good scout all this while, and the excellent training they gave me in the army (i've been there btw) the doors didnt prove to be much of a hindrance! poof ! actually i think even my chickens would have made it over, had they fluttered their wings.

Excellent wind ! excellent sun ! but no one was around !! wat a let down.. i sat down by the beach, looked into the horizon as great poets of ancient china once did. Just as i felt the vibes and words of wisdom coming,Bang arrived! Rigging up was pretty quick, and this time round i was sure to grab a lifevest, after the last near drowning experience..

The wind was mighty strong and powerful ! but how could I , son of Mr and Mrs Teo, not put up a brave fight against it !!! Summoning every sinew of strength i could, frm every orifice,leg hair,nose hair,u name it all,i prevailed ! (but didnt last long though) My body must have a very strong affinity for water, as instead of spending time on the surfboard, im somehow in the water most of the time! Nonetheless had a pretty gd surf today,managed to plane well !

So tt was the end of the battle at sea..Being a strong warriror, i decided to have another battle with the siglap barber ! Gosh!! dun let the looks of the limp elderly malay with a thick left cataract fool you..he drew out his weapon as i met him -- a pair of scissors ! oh man, i dun think he changed tt pair of scissors ever since he started the hair business. He kinda pulls out my hair when he cant cut them ! being immobilized in the chair(must haf been an evil spell), i could only exert energy frm within my scalp, trying to retain all tt i could !! then came the razor blade.. schhingg .... schiiingg !!! unarmed, i could only resign to my fate...

new year's day

hoho ! new years day was rather quiet ! no parties or any karaoke sessions at my house. darn i would have loved to exercise my vocal cords on my wan li da(ten thousand strength machine)!!! woke up pretty late.. think the chickens were kinda tired as well. Went for brunch with my laoma and sis(who is 28 i reiterate!!)

Went to zhihui's to watch labi(crayon)xiaoxin after tt! As usual i brought my newspapers along,which wasnt really particularly well received. managed to pinch some mrs field's brownies while i was there! heheh! they were gd !

We dinner at marine parade market ! chai dao kueh, pig organ soup, and chee cheong fun !!! i know i know it aint tt healthy but hey,, its new year's day ! The chee cheong fun was great!, with juz the right amount of chap (sauce) and thin enough..with prawns in them. Chai dao kueh was rather dismal though.. i expected more frm an authentic uncle(complete with the messy hair,hole in the hair at the top, pot belly, oily fingers, and a gruffy voice) who went "ah di,hum jio mai?" (something like tt) which means whether i want chilli in the kueh.. at least an authentic uncle still addresses me as ah di..

Hoho! made for my house aft tt as i had to feed the two hungry beagles at hme , before going to cartel for ice cream !! We passed by the infamous playground where i once witnessed(but not partook) an act of utter indecency btw uncles and zong guo mei! well the playgrnd's kinda dark at night..

Met Ms Ant(ma yi in chinese)--the one who murdered my plate of papayas in jc for dinnner at delifrance. Had the salmon croissant set as she duely remembered tt friday is no meat day!!im sure she'll conveniently forget about tt as soon as i place a succulent juicy steak or any other tantalizing meats b4 her eyes...Had a pretty intellectual conversation(im capable of one!) about MLM (multi lvl marketing aka fancy pancy terms)..

Entertainment after dinner wasnt really intellectual i must say..I conveniently forgot which floor megapool was on!well had an elevator adventure of some sort..Relax.. i found it in the end ! Errmm company in megapool wasnt exactly the studious type i muz add.There was this chap at the neighbouring table tt wore a cap of some sort sideways,had wrist bands,baggy jeans,metal chains---u get the picture.I seriously was very careful not to prod his ass,lest i end up being a ball for his cue. And my trusty umbrella, my only weapon against any attacks was sitting far away frm me.Had a fun time playing pool though ! well i must say im not too gd at arranging the balls in the triangle.. it juz boggles the mind.Yogis and acrobats must really fair well in pool!!the number of positions tt i had to get into to attempt some shots really puts kamasutra to shame!!

Rainy rainy rainy.... it was pretty fortunate tt we had a trusty umbrella on hand. Had some cheesecake and tea near my place.Gosh !! i saw a couple eating snails at the table beside ours !! yea snails!! complete with the shell!!! well its the rainy season and i guess snailets abound!!

Walked along siglap park connector,took a couple of wrong turns,but with my wonderful orienteering skills (eg. looking for the north star;intuition...)managed to get onto the correct path.. And i got pricked by a bougainvillea plant !!!! Met a group of banghlas however..din really see them till they got pretty close ....

Met up with ah lee, ant, corinne, mike and minzhi to celebrate Ah lee's belated birthday on thursday! All of us had the season's special at kenny rogers, 2 side dishes, a quarter chick, muffins and soup for juz $13.95! Of course,healthy,waistline conscious,anti greasy,pro vege, and an ardent supporter of a gd balanced diet -- ah teo (which is me !!) had to order boiled vege as a side dish.. Well i couldnt let my (only i can see and feel) abs go to waste could i ??!! hoho !! darn.. the veg didnt taste too good by the way.But nonetheless i helped ant and nic with theirs as well.

Went to starbucks after tt.. The rest had their usual ice blended... ice... (borringgg) I had the most interesting and most nutritious and the most mature drink !! -----> Steamed milk !! well it cost $3.10 for a cup.. Ant said tt she could have bought a carton and popped it in the microwave for me.. but hey ! its gotta be steamed to the right temperature and frothed nicely ! juz to let u all know, according to the Astereix and Obelix series (i forgot which book), valiant, brave, muscular, extremely macho warriors used to drink milk (goats' to be exact) before going to war with the romans !! by toutatis !!

zhihui says im turning into an uncle...Im quite worried as it is actually. im starting to order warm water(instead of iced) in restaurants and "teh"(instead of lv cha) in coffeeshops and bringing the straits times out to read and having beer with peanuts .. argh !! worst of all !! i actually like doing such things !!!! gosh.. had a horrible experience a few months ago as well. i went out with my sister(2nd one who is 28 this year) and i actually got mistaken for my sister's boyfren!! her colleague actually went: hey i presume you're lin's boyfriend! how do you do ?! Argh !!! i think i need some boutox jabs.... my sis is 28 !!!!

There was a time, when i used to think chickens were marvelous birds.. i mean where else do you find birds tt lay wonderful breakfasts, make highly effective dusters ( with their feathers that is) and even great alarm clocks ! but its a whole new story nowadays.. The only things that come to mind are crossbones and skulls and !@#!@$@$%#$ these days.

Well the story goes... My dad came back one day with 2 chickens !! wowee was i surprised and excited ! i mean which other person u know gets to keep chickens at home! They are white and black respectively,both small and feathery.. And the best thing ? i get free range eggs every morning ! fresh from the chicken bum!! So tts how we came to own these 2 feathery birds.

My dad is out of the country !! and i was henceforth conveniently named the official chicken caretaker by my mom and sisters.. darn, why do i have to be the smallest apple in the teo family tree!! Imagine babysitting not one but two feathery frens that peck ! Yes !! they peck !!! ARGH ~~!! im still getting hen-pecked !!

My core duties include feeding them and washing chicken poo.. heh let me give u a bit of graphic detail on chick poo. well its kinda green and liquidy at the bottom, and towards the top, it kinda curls into some white solid, like whipped cream topping,minus the nuts.

This morning i had to catch them back into their cage after their morning stroll and worming exercise in the garden.. Man .. i was on a wild chicken chase. My neighbours must think im a nut case :( I had to enlist the help of a broom and a bin to trap the chickens !! they were highly tricky i must add. i must have sustained a total of 10 pecks from the white chicken..tt nasty violent bird. Hehheh but im getting better at this ! i took less time to trap them then i did the previous day ! haha im glad, maybe one day i'll become a professional chicken trapper !

Heya !! haha went to watch handsome stephen Chow in kunfu hustle with zh today !~ flying kicks,axes,and even raging orcs came out from this chap's ancient chinese musical instrument. Darn!! i didnt remember having the same effect when i used to play the violin.. :( its probably the getup.. as in i think one must don some kung fu suit to be a martial arts exponent ! seriously must get my mom to make one for me one day.

And im addicted to San Zha ( aka haw haw flakes !!! ) i just polished off my entire week's supply of haw haw.. and some of my mom's as well.darn.laugh, i realize ur tongue gets pretty red after a generous helping of haw haw.well im not going to get caught red tongued ! gotta brush my teeth again after blogging.

argh !! i had a horrible shower experience today...well i was kinda showering whilst practising my "moon represents my heart"when i realized that i ran out of shower foam!!my shokobutsu (plant story) ran out of chlorophyll !!! i wrapped a skimpy towel round my waist and twinkle toed to my mom's room for reinforcements,hoping no one would see me.Brr!!it was cold.Alas,my mom's shower foam cabinet ran out of my favourite plant story and worse of all the only thing left was this pink girly floral shower foam which i had to contend with...im very flowery now by the way, so much so tt i expect a bee to land on me any moment! i hope none of my junior scouts read this.Worse! after making the trip all the way back to my loo,i realized tt i ran out of toothpaste as well,had to have another go at parading to my mom's loo!

oh man. my maid is still on the run! argh.. tt means more chambermaiding to do.sheesh ! when are my reinforcements going to arrive.Nowadays each time my mom drives by the maid agency, i will give her the forlorn look!

Argh !! Today my mom made me an office boy... staple staple, glue glue, paste paste... i realized to my horror that photocopying documents seriously isnt my cup of tea!! forever self confident teo told my mom with pride :" mei wen ti, lao ma bao zai wo shen shang ! "and horrors of horrors ! i keep getting pages that are toh peng and the otherside!!! oh man.. how paiseh..and worse of all the clerk came in to check on me ! to find lots of paper in the bin. dunnoe wat to tell her also!

hehheh after tt i had to fill in 27 employees worth of income tax forms ! laugh didnt know my mom had an employee by the name of tang bee hoon ! oh man.. calculating their annual salary was a major headache!think i haf to get my sis to prescribe some ponstan quick..i expected my laoma to give me a damn zhai scientific calculator plus memory and brackets but no!!!! i got a parsa malam calculator that only has all the numbers and + - x divide ! but not so bad still got solar power.i gave my laoma the very tong ku look when i saw the dismal equipment tt she gave me. Man... i got a lecture about nian qing ren nowadays not knowing how to appreciate things.neway i settled with the (i think buy one get 20 free) calculator to punch punch equals equals.argh !! i figured its gotta be something wrong with the calculator,because the amount never fails to be different when i calculate the same thing twice ! eh.. i used to take maths S paper one leh.

But alas my mom had a wonderful job for me !i had a go at the paper shredder! woohoo!! its almost as good as windsurfing and rockclimbing!! szzzshing.... and everything comes out in strips! haha so it was not so bad after all.. hehheh and the pretty clerk always had more stuff to shred when i asked her.
